    1957. The first satellite is sent into space, the new Fiat 500 debuts, Fiorenzo Biancalani opens his own company that builds machinery for the finishing of woolen fabrics. At that time, Prato, the Italian city, was a very active district, and the 27-year-old, who already had 11 years of experience in the industry, decided to start a new business that has expanded and, after 66 years, thanks to the second generation, today has become an international reference.

    Expanding Horizons:

    Rossano, Rossana and Massimo, the three children of Fiorenzo Biancalani, began in the 1980s to develop an international commercial network, weaving working relationships with England, South Africa, Pakistan, India and Spain. During the mid-1980s, the company also began manufacturing machinery for dry finishing, opening up new perspectives and entering a new portion of the market. In recent years, thanks also to participation in important trade fairs around the world, Biancalani has been able to expand further and introduce high-end products to industry professionals. Today, the company’s machines are present in more than 100 countries.
