Giorgio Calculli is the new general director of ACIMIT, the association of Italian textile machinery manufacturers. Graduated in Law, with a Master’s degree in labor and training policies, he has worked in the Association since 2006 as responsible for association relations, training and the technical area.
Calculli takes over the management of ACIMIT from Federico Pellegata , who after 25 years at the direction of the Association will become CEO of ACIMIT Servizi srl, the company established by ACIMIT which has as its object the provision of services for the promotion, organization of fairs textile machinery in Italy and abroad, as well as supporting associated companies during their implementation.
“ An experience full of satisfactions comes to an end, says Federico Pellegata , for which I am grateful to the associated companies, to the General Council of ACIMIT and to the presidents who have succeeded one another in my years at the helm of the Association. My commitment to promoting the Italian textile machinery industry does not stop here. As CEO of ACIMIT Servizi I will continue to work to ensure that ITMA, the main world exhibition of textile machinery, continues to represent a successful showcase for Italian companies in the sector as happened for the Italian editions of 2015 and 2023″ .
