Zünd Systemtechnik AG is moving even closer to its Brazilian customers. As of the beginning of 2024, Zünd acquired its long-standing sales partner BG Soluções Tecnológicas, which is based in Porto Alegre.
Since the beginning of 2024, BG Soluções Tecnológicas has been a wholly owned subsidiary of Zünd Systemtechnik AG and now operates under the name Zund Brasil. BG Soluções Tecnológicas was founded in 1981 by Sergio and Paulo Guerra and has been an official sales and service partner of Zünd Systemtechnik AG since 1990.
Zund Brasil is relocating its headquarters from Porto Alegre to São Paulo. Moreover, with over 12 million residents, São Paulo stands out as the largest city in Brazil and the largest industrial hub in Latin America. As a part of this strategic move, a dedicated showroom will be established to allow customers and interested parties to experience first-hand the many possibilities of Zünd’s digital cutting technology. Furthermore, the 10 employees, who are proven experts in consulting, training, installation, and service, will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless transition. Notably, Cristiano Guerra, the second generation from BG’s founder, will serve as the CEO of Zund Brasil, bringing valuable leadership and continuity to the company’s operations in its new location. With the new subsidiary, Zünd can further expand in Latin America and take full advantage of the significant market potential.
