The Spanish textile technology sector had a remarkable presence at Egy Stitch & Tex. From February 20th to 23rd, five leading Spanish companies—Icomatex, Hetex, Jeanologia, Gomplast, and EAS Escarré—showcased their latest innovations and connected with key Egyptian industry players.
Throughout the event, the Spanish pavilion attracted significant interest, reinforcing Spain’s position as a key technological partner in Egypt’s growing textile sector. To enhance engagement, we organized a networking catering, which successfully brought in visitors, many of whom were already familiar with Spanish solutions. This further emphasized our reputation as a leading provider of cutting-edge technology in a market full of opportunities.
Beyond the exhibition, we held strategic meetings with key stakeholders, including representatives from major Egyptian textile manufacturers, industry associations, and government entities. These discussions allowed us to gain deeper insights into the current needs of the sector, regulatory developments, and investment opportunities. The Egyptian market is undergoing significant transformations, with a growing focus on modernization, sustainability, and efficiency—areas where Spanish technology can provide high-value solutions.
The event also provided a platform for knowledge exchange, where our participating companies could highlight their expertise in areas such as textile finishing, sustainable production processes, and advanced automation solutions. Spain’s leadership in innovation and commitment to sustainability were well received by Egyptian partners, who expressed a strong interest in adopting new technologies to enhance their competitiveness in the global market.
