SDL Atlas is proud to announce the debut of the QuickView Fabric Shrinkage Analyzer at ITMA Asia + CITME 2024, setting a new standard for accuracy and efficiency in fabric shrinkage measurement. This state-of-the-art instrument employs cutting-edge digital optics and advanced computer imaging technology to eliminate the errors associated with traditional manual measurement techniques.
The QuickView is designed for textile manufacturers and quality control professionals who require precise and rapid analysis of fabric shrinkage. With its built-in intelligent algorithm, users can obtain reliable shrinkage data in real time with a single click. This significantly enhances productivity, reduces time spent on measurement tasks and eliminates possible human error due to operator fatigue from repeated measurements.
Equipped with a high-definition camera, the QuickView Fabric Shrinkage Analyzer recognizes benchmark dots within a generous sample identification area of 650 x 650 mm with an accuracy of +/- 1 mm between pairs of dots. The software intelligently calculates the spatial relationships and straight-line distances between these dots to deliver comprehensive shrinkage results for both the warp and weft directions as well as the diagonal skew of the fabric.
Additionally, the included software can generate QR codes for the test method and fabric information of each tested sample. Subsequent testing instantly derives a shrinkage indicator by recognizing the saved fabric data.
