Color is a very powerful expressive tool for communicating emotions and feelings; it is fun and joy, vitality and identity. The Officina39 team knows this too well, hence it never tires of exploring the color possibilities of its sustainable innovations, inventing ever new and surprising applications, on display at Munich Fabric Start, Key House, Hall 7- K11. Let’s take RecycromTM Ready to Dye as an example, a range of 15 ready in stock colors obtained from a minimum of 65% recycled textile pre- and post-consumer materials: in keeping with following the trend of the next seasons in which garment dyeing will take a predominant role, Officina39 has created a whole collection of circular dyed garments that unleash its designers’ creativity to explore laser and ozone applications and layered mixtures of tones.

This circular approach to fashion is also the main topic of the panel “GREAT GREEN INTELLIGENCE – Join DEVALIA on an interdisciplinary approach and scaled methodology for individuals and companies who wish to SUSTAIN-REMAIN and REGAIN in a fast-evolving industry”, which is attended by Andrea Venier, Managing Director Officina39, at Key House – Hall 7 on Tuesday 3 September at 5 p.m.

Another cornerstone of Officina39’s approach, besides circularity, is the reduction of natural resource consumption. Indeed, one of the company’s flagship products is EASYNDIGO, the process that makes indigo garment dyeing easy, while reducing the consumption of water, energy and resources. The technology, based on the Pull&Push Mechanism, uses specific formaldehyde-free agents (DETERWET EASYNDIGO, DISPERSOLO EASYNDIGO, BASE EASYNDIGO) to enhance a dyeing process of raw garments resulting in a bright and deep indigo color, improving wash and rubbing fastness, increasing lightfastness and levelness. This chemical package reaches its deepest effectiveness and gets power in combination with Tonello’s DyeMate technology. This collaboration is on stage at Key House on Wednesday 4 September at 12 p.m., as part of the panel “GREAT GREEN TECHKNOWLEDGE

    – A Deep Dive into Tech-Driven Viability That Emerges from Collaboration”, attended by Andrea Venier, Alberto Lucchin, Marketing Executive Tonello, and other industry leaders.

Once garments are dyed, they become a canvas on which to play around in a responsible way with Aqualess All-In-One, a new waterless “all-in-one” enzyme that totally replaces pumice stone. A new milestone in Officina39 Aqualess Mission, to get stone-wash and authentic vintage looks in conventional machines, at room temperature. Outstanding abrasion and high contrast effects, low environmental impact and excellent anti-backstaining properties, better bluish cast compared to pumice stone, without the labor-intensive process of removing it. Aqualess All-In-One is suitable not only for indigo and black denim, but also for garments treated with Officina39’s premium dyestuffs: RecycromTM, Novantic and Nebudye.

When it comes to playing with stylistic effects on denim, INTENSE CEL BLOCK product is a remarkable innovation in textile design. It is a color blocker and fixer that can be applied via spray, brush, or sponge, either localized or all-over, to achieve high- reserve effects on denim or colors following bleaching/corrosion or acid wash. It maintains very bright and intense color where applied. Perfect for creating “patches” effects, the INTENSE CEL BLOCK is formulated without reactive resins or acidity-releasing agents, thus preserving fabric strength and soft hand feel. Officina39 applied this product to obtain a unique Pixel Art effect.
