Ferraro S.p.A., a global leader in textile finishing machinery, will make a strong impression at ITMA Asia Singapore 2025 with its revolutionary FerrSonic ultrasonic scouring technology and advanced Energy Management Solutions (EMS). Committed to sustain ability and efficiency, Ferraro continues to set new standards in textile finishing.

FerrSonic: A Breakthrough in Eco Friendly Scouring
At the heart of Ferraro’s showcase is FerrSonic, a patented ultrasonic system that uses high-frequency vibrations and controlled cavitation to deeply clean fabrics, removing dirt, oils, waxes, and residues from within the weave. Its double-tank inline design, featuring ultrasonic bars, spray nozzles, and a self-cleaning system, enables liquid reuse and significantly reduces resource consumption: up to 30% less chemicals and 54 water consumption, and 50% lower energy use by operating at 60–65°C instead of the typical 90 95°C. The result is consistent fabric quality, lower CO₂ emissions, and reduced operating costs.
Self-Cleaning Innovation: Cleaner Baths, Greater Efficiency
Complementing FerrSonic is Ferraro’s Self-Cleaning Oil Separation Device, a patented system that removes oils, waxes, fats, and fluffs from circulating water every minute. Ideal for use with stenter lines, it sup ports cleaner wash baths and optimal water reuse. Central to the system is the S.C.S. automatic strainer, offering 35-micron filtration via nonwoven fabrics on rotating stainless-steel drums. Its smart vacuum system ensures reliable, low-maintenance operation.
EMS: Digitalizing Energy Efficiency
Ferraro’s Energy Management Solutions (EMS) is a digital platform that tracks steam, water, air, and electricity use across finishing operations. With real-time dashboards and analytics, EMS helps reduce costs, identify inefficiencies, and support long-term sustainability goals—meeting rising regulatory and market demands.
