The ISMC once again invites students from around the world to create campaigns that raise public awareness about environmental issues related to textile waste and the innovative technology platforms of Clean Recycling Initiative ™
Following the global success of the 2nd edition in 2023, where nearly 300 colleges and universities from 63 countries participated, Clean Recycling Initiative ™ is excited to announce the 3rd annual International Sustainability Marketing Competition (ISMC) set for the fall of 2024. This year, the competition introduces a special new award category, the “Africa Award” in collaboration with GreenLead as well as the partnerships with Corporate Career Academy (CCA) of Kenya and Tailorlux of Germany.
“Education is a key component of this competition. Participating students will have the opportunity to learn about critical environmental issues stemming from the textile products we use every day and explore effective ways to address them. This is why we are organizing information sessions and requiring students to attend at least one,” said Sae Chang, CEO of Clean Recycling Initiative™.
“The competition has rapidly grown to become the largest of its kind in just two years, driven by global interest in the subject and the tremendous efforts of the organizing team, judges, and ambassadors who have graciously taken on these important roles,” Sae continued.
Multiple information sessions with identical educational content have been scheduled across three different time zones to accommodate as many global participants as possible.
