EDANA organises training courses in Malaysia

EDANA, with the kind support of Fibertex Nonwovens, will organise its two highly-acclaimed nonwovens and absorbent hygiene products training courses, for the first time in Malaysia in December 2006.  This follows just one month after EDANA’s first and very successful training courses in India.

Taking place during the week of 11th December 2006 in Kuala Lumpur’s Putrajaha Shangri-La Hotel, these 2-day training courses will provide a unique opportunity for newcomers to the industry in South East Asia, to quickly gain a complete understanding of the various technologies, processes, raw materials and market aspects of nonwovens and absorbent hygiene products.

Although designed specially for marketing and technical/R&D executives from producers, suppliers and converters, it is expected that, because of the emerging nonwovens industry in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and beyond, the training courses will also attract the interest of potential investors and business executives who are considering entering these exciting sectors which have a high potential in the whole region.

These training courses have been successfully established in Europe and North America (under licence granted to INDA by EDANA) and have also been delivered by EDANA’s Technical and Education Director, Jean-Michel Anspach, in local language in France, Brazil and India.  Plans for Central and Eastern European versions of the course are in the pipe-line for 2007.

The continuously updated training courses, containing exclusive copyrighted material and data, make extensive use of visuals and samples and each participating delegates receives a comprehensive set of notes and certificate once having completed the course.
