The 7th Yiwu International Exhibition on Hosiery and Garment Industries (YIWU H&G 2006), was launched again on November 15-17, 2006 in China Commodity City Meihu Exhibition Centre, Yiwu, Zhejiang, PR China. 

Recently, YIWU H&G show has attained the status of”UFI approved event” and now this show is the only UFI approved knitting machinery exhibition in China.

With rapid growth of knitting industry in Yiwu (China) and in the global market, YIWU H&G 2006 has established to be the most internationalized, professional and influential knitting exhibition in China. The show draws marked attention from industrial professionals from all over the world.  Exhibitors from 11 countries and areas had confirmed their participation at YIWU H&G 2006, including Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hong Kong SAR, Italy, Japan, Korea, PR China, Switzerland, Taiwan Province, Turkey, etc.  Among these overseas exhibitors had occupied 60% of total exhibiting area, whereas exhibitors from PR China also joined enthusiastically, organizations from more than 31 provinces, cities and counties had reserved their booths.

Various special thematic zones had been set up to fulfill the market need, including seamless underwear, knitting & hosiery machines zone, braiding, zipper & weaving machines zone, dyeing and finishing machines zone, gloves knitting machines zone and fiber, yarn and spare parts zone.

The Trend of Hosiery Forum - 2nd Edition held concurrently with YIWU H&G 2006.  Leaders from Yiwu City Hosiery Industry Association, experts from Dong Hua University and senior engineers of Zhejiang Langsha Knitting Co., Ltd. were the guest speakers of the forum.
