Premier Evolvics, through its wholly owned subsidiary, Premier Jiangsu Textile Electronics Co. Ltd., displayed the full range of quality testing and monitoring equipments at the recently concluded CITME 2006 exhibition at Beijing, China.

Mr. Sridhar Vardaraj, Managing Director inaugurated the Premier Stall. Speaking on the occasion, he said , “Premier considers the Chinese market to be of great importance and has invested significantly to bring in world class sales, service and application support to Chinese customers. We will continue to focus in bringing innovative quality solutions to spinners worldwide including China.”

 A special feature at the stall was the live connection of Dr.Q- a remote diagnostic and service monitoring facility, unveiled for the first time in China. Using the Dr.Q solution, Premier’s Lab equipment can be connected to a central remote server and all the machine interruption data can be viewed by Premier Service experts and a solution can be “fixed” on the machine using the internet connectivity. Up to 15% of all service calls can b easily handled without the physical presence of a Premier Service representative.

Thanks to Premier’s association with Bremen Fiber Round Trial and Testex Yarn Round Test, Chinese customers were offered information and help at the stall in registering for these round tests.

On view at the expo was the world’s most intelligent Evenness Tester, Premier IQ Qualicenter. The IQ Qualicenter is packed with an intelligent combination of several innovative measurements like :

• World’s first twin tower design for simultaneous measurement of yarn and sliver/roving.
• World’s first evenness tester with an integrated Hair count measurement.
• World’s first evenness tester with an in-built nep classification software.
