Comez exhibits its latest machinery

Comez will be exhibiting at “TEXMAC INDIA 2007″ together with its local agent ARK ENGINEERING Co., where it will present the latest novelties of its technology:

  • Crochet knitting machines, both mechanical and electronic.
  • Mechanical, electronic and jacquard weaving needle looms.
  • Electronic double needle bed warp knitting machines in addition to
  • softwares for pattern programming.

COMEZ machine offers speed and productivity at maximum levels, almost unlimited range of usable yarns and versatility, flexibility and ease of use. The Comez machines are used to make a wide range of narrow fabrics (laces, bands, ribbons), passementerie, fancy yarns, technical textiles, fabrics for outerwear.

The following machines will be displayed in the COMEZ stand at TEXMAC INDIA 2007.

Comez DNB/EL-800

Electronic double needle bed warp knitting machine used to manufacture a wide range of articles for outerwear (scarves, shawls, fashion fabrics for knitwear), underwear and corsetry articles (elastic ribbons, bra-straps), sportswear, technical and medical use.

Comez DNB/EL-800 comes in gauges from 5 to 20 n.p.i., a working width of 800 mm, is equipped with 4, 6 or 8 electronically controlled pattern bars, and can work any type of yarn, both synthetic and natural.

It is fitted with the Data Control 3 Controller which allows for using several devices with electronic control (end-product take-down, feeders, etc.).

Thanks to the presence of 2 needle beds, and the unique evolution of the pattern guide bars, it is possible to obtain “double face” articles, with identical structure and specifications on both sides: there is therefore no front side and back side to the fabric.

Comeztronic CT-11B/600

Electronic Crochet Machine offering maximum levels of productivity and versatility, for the production of a wide range of laces, bands and ribbons, both rigid and elastic. The high number of bars and electronic operating system allow for the creation of elaborate patterns, with very long pattern repeats.

Comeztronic CT-11B/600 comes in gauges 15 and 20 n.p.i., has a 600 mm operating width and is fitted with 10 electronically driven weft pattern bars and 1 bar driven by the weft device.

The finished product take-down and the feeders can be electronically controlled: this allows for the possibility of different values for stitch density and weft/warp feeding on one single product, and makes COMEZTRONIC a unique production means at disposal of the manufacturers of sophisticated articles for underwear.

MNC Needle Controller

The Needle Controller is designed to detect broken or damaged needle hooks on single and double jersey knitting machines.

MNC consists of a control unit with up to two small optical sensors. It can be applied to plain, needle out structure, striper and jacquard fabrics.

The system helps to avoid loss of output which ends in significant loss of sales revenue.

MRA 2 Motor Belt Drive NEW !

The MRA motor belt drive replaces the quality adjustment pulleys on circular knitting machines. The toothed belts of the MRA are driven by servo motors. One motor is required for each yarn feeder drive belt. The required yarn length per revolution is entered via a terminal display for each yarn feeder drive belt.

Advantages:

  • Reduced machine set up time leads to higher machine efficiency due to reduced shut down time.
  • Improved fabric quality, no influence of dirty drive belts and dirty quality adjustment pulleys.
  • Exact reproducibility of fabric qualities
  • Permanent display of yarn consumption.
  • The MRA 2 system is adaptable to all circular knitting machines.

MSF Storage feeder

MSF is the latest generation of storage feeders with stationery spool body, especially designed for big circular knitting machines, seamless-, hosiery-, socks- and flat bed knitting machines. Distinguishing marks are:

  • Touch less monitoring of the thread by photocells to avoid tension peaks which come up by using mechanical monitoring systems. MSF works without interruption as long as yarn is being demanded.
  • The stationery spool body helps to avoid additional yarn twist, the thread separation is 1mm.
  • Adjustable tensioner which allows to work with lowest yarn tension.
  • Integrated yarn demand measuring system.
  • Contactless stop motion.
  • Smallest design.

DECOTEX IP

Electronic yarn infeed measuring device with readers integrated in the MPF-L and MER-2 feeders. It assures the reproducibility of knitted fabric, delivers information for calculation and product control. DECOTEX IP is an active system which switches off the machine in case of yarn infeed deviations. The measuring device displays the infeed yarn quantity per machine rotation or per minute in m or yard for 1 to 6 feeder belts. Furthermore it shows the yarn infeed per 100 needles.

LMT-7

LMT-7 is an electronic yarn infeed measuring system for the determination of the yarn quantity per machine rotation and the percentage share of all yarns to be processed. The production data can be analyzed on a PC. The LMT 7 software is Windows XP-capable. Programming and data acquisition are realized via a plug adapter with USB interface on the PC.

P5.2 for 24 lubricating points

P5.2 is now also available with 24 lubricating points.

EFS 800

EFS 800 is the consistent advancement of the well known electronic, tension controlled feeding system series EFS. It is designed to feed elastic yarns to big circular knitting machines, seamless-, hosiery-, socks- and flat bed knitting machines. EFS 800 is characterised by the following features:

  • High dynamic motor, the adjustment of the necessary thread takes place in fractions of a second with absolutely constant yarn tension without tension peaks, even when knitting Jacquard.
  • Automatic checking of the yarn tension sensor.
  • Very simple to operate.
  • Monitoring of the yarn consumption/rapport with integrated stop function when over or under supplying.
  • Programmable overfeed function for safe holding of the thread after lay out.
  • Smallest design.

EFS 900

EFS 900 is the first tension controlled feeding system with integrated thread return function, which is needed e.g. at the reciprocated heel and toe or on flat knitting machines. Even during the reciprocating process of the cylinder the yarn tension is constant. Besides this feature EFS 900 includes all functions of EFS 800.
