Descon Chemical offers Desizer LC-N Conventional Bacterial Alpha Amylase
Desizer LC-N enzyme is a concentrated conventional bacterial a-amylase, which should be used for desizing fabrics, sized with starch, starch derivatives, or blends of starch plus other synthetic sizing materials. The strong amylolytic power of Desizer LC-N enzyme allows rapid conversion of the starch size into dextrins, which are easily removed by rinsing following impregnation with enzyme.
Desizer LC-N enzyme is assured as the industry standard for quality, consistency, and stability. The activity of Desizer LC-N enzyme is determined against an internal standard using the synthetic starch substrate blocked p-Nitrophenylmaltoheptoside (BGNP). The resulting enzyme activity is expressed in Reference Amylase Units (RAU)
Process conditions
Chelation, Chelating agents should not be used with Desizer LC-N. Water hardness and common salt increase the stability of this enzyme.
Chemical Auxiliaries, Wetting agents, detergents, scouring agents, or solvent scours should be used with all applications of Desizer LC-N enzyme to enhance penetration and size swelling, along with assisting in the removal of waxes, soils, and synthetic sizing materials.
1. Wide pH range
2. Excellent denim garment wash effect
3. Efficiency increases with addition of NaCl 3-5 g/l
Whenever surfactants are used in conjunction with desizing enzymes, check to ensure that the auxiliaries are compatible with the enzyme. Typically non-ionic surfactants are suitable for combination with enzymes whereas anionic and cationic surfactants may disrupt enzyme activity.
Lubricants are generally recommended to be used in combination with amylase enzymes during desizing to reduce the formation of crease marks and streaks. The addition of lubricants are especially recommended when desizing in rotary drum machines, in liquor jets, or in preparation for denim washing.
