Fleissner Teleservice offers on-line technical support to its customers

 

According to a recent press release, “Fleissner is now offering teleservice based on Symmedia software. A PC installed by Fleissner at your end will be your communication platform with us via internet access provided by you. Any questions occurring in connection with control system, machinery or process technology of your line can then be dealt with online by a Fleissner expert.”

The customer can use the teleservice to contact Fleissner for following services.

  • To request Fleissner services (online assistance by Fleissner expert with control system, machinery or technological issues),
  • For selection and procurement of spare parts,
  • As an information platform (providing access, for example, to operating manuals, picture archives, machine documents).

Advantages

The Fleissner teleservice enables the customer to request services at the touch of a button:

  • quick online assistance during machine standstill.
  • counseling on production problems.
  • ordering of spare parts using the teleservice PC .
  • all documentation files are available online.

Security

This software is designed for a client/server solution. Components communicate through a coded internet connection and are protected by firewalls.

All connections between Symmedia products are handled by the Secure Remote Service Protocol (SRSP). The main features of the SRSP protocol are:

  • SSL encoding of all connections.
  • certificates for server and user.
  • single-port connections.
