Archroma won 3rd
postion amongst top 25 companies
Pakistan Stock Exchange ranked Archroma at
3rd position for the year 2018, a rare feat consecutively for
the 17th time amongst its Top 25 Companies. The achievement is a
recognition of complying successfully to the high standards and
crossing annually raised bars set by the Stock Exchange. Winning
criteria is based on capital efficiency, good corporate
governance, listing regulations, transparency and timely
distribution of profits.

Corporate Excellence Award
Archroma Pakistan once again achieved another milestone by
winning the prestigious “Corporate Excellence Award" in the
Chemical Category - 9th time in a row at the 34rd Corporate
Excellence Awards ceremony held in Karachi in April 2019. The
nationwide contest was organized by Management Association of
Pakistan. Judging critera is meticulously organized to decipher
allocated organizational competencies.

A hat trick : Employer of the year
Award & CEO of the year
Archroma won First Prize as “ Employer of the Year “ in the
category of Multinational Companies consecutively for years
2015, 2016 and 2017.. Accordingly Mr. Mujtaba Rahim was declared
“ CEO of the Year ” in recognition of his leadership acumen. Out
of six contest, Archroma won three times - an unbeatable record
not matched by any company so far. In recognition of this
achievement, a commemorative shield was awarded to Archroma for

Archroma Pakistan won CSR Award in the area of Biodiversity &
Conservation in recognition of its many actions aimed at saving
environment and water consumption. The national contest was
organized by National Forum for Environment & Health in January
Mr. Tariq Saleem receiving the CSR Award from the
President Azad Kashmir, Mr. Masood Khan.
Living the Global Compact Business
Archroma is amonst the 20 founding signatory companies of Global
Compact rolled out by Employers Federation of Pakistan in
December 2005.. Its ten complying principles relate to Human
rights, Labor, Environment and Anti-Corruption. Within Archroma,
all principles are observed with full sanctity and discipline.

Recognition by the government
technical, vocational & educational training support program
Archroma is one of the seven pioneer organizations who founded
vocational training initiatives to enhance capacity building of
young students by giving them hands-on training within their
organizations. The project started in 2012 and is still going
strong. Our effort was recognized GIZ & TVET at a ceremony in
Mr. Nasir Mohammad Vohra with Chief Guest, H.E. Mr.
Ambassador of European Union Consul General of
Fire & Safety Award
Archroma sites at Jamshoro and Landhi are fully compliant on all
safety standards. Employee teams are fully training to combat
any emergency situation. Disaster Control Plans are available
for immediate action in case of any unforeseen calamity. Fire
safety drills periodically organized. Our best practices in fire
safety earned us the Award in November 2018.

Upscaling environmental responsibility
making the environment clean and green
Employees volunteer and
plant trees in the vicinity of area where they work.
Additionally Archroma promotes tree plantation in schools, civil
administration offices and neighbourhood. At our production
sites in Jamshoro and Landhi, it is our motto to plant fruit
trees with the resultant that mangoes, guavas, cheeku, dates,
grape fruit, papayas and coconuts are available in abundance
every season. We utilize designated open spaces for growing
Archroma contributes to
cleaner environment by converting organic solid waste into
compost. So far 7000 kgs of organic compost has been made to
enrich the soil. Composting is a new initiative of our team and
is done in-house using re-cycled items.
