Majyd Aziz, ex-President, Aamir Abdullah Zaki, ex-Senior Vice President, and Saqib Naseem, ex-Vice President, Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, have congratulated the unopposed elections of the President and Managing Committee of KCCI. In a press statement, the three office-bearers stated that this is a manifestation of the acceptance by general members that the performance of KCCI during their term as office-bearers was exceptional, productive, and in the larger interest of the membership.

The three ex-office-bearers further added that during their term they, alongwith the members of the Managing Committee and the Chamber staff, worked diligently and sincerely for the cause of the Karachi Chamber members. KCCI became a powerful trade body and highly acclaimed by international organizations and individuals, including the US Congress, the diplomatic community, and foreign media. They added that KCCI undertook the cause of the small traders and lobbied effectively to resolve their major issues.

They moreover added that KCCI took the lead in women empowerment programs and ensured that the rights of women entrepreneurs were protected and promoted. The Chamber organized a record number of local and international projects for women. KCCI also was able to get its Police-Chamber Liaison Committee notified with representation from all law-enforcing agencies. They said that the highly successful trip of the KCCI delegation to USA further added to the stature of the Chamber.
