VITAS announces 50 best textile & apparel exporters of 2007

Vietnam textile and apparel Association (VITAS) has announced a list of 50 enterprises with high exports of textile and apparel products in 2007, in a bid to appreciate and encourage them.

At the apparel sector, Vietnam Garment Export and Import Corporation (VTEC) stands at top with forecasts to earn VND 1.700 billion of domestic sales from the 1,017 shops and franchises and US $200 million through exports turnover.

In the textile sector, Coats Phong Phu Company is regarded as the most excellent performer. Other companies in the list include Hanosimex, Garment No.10, Viet Thang Textile, Song Hong Garment and Thai Nguyen Garment.

This list of 50 best textile and apparel exporting companies of Vietnam is announced annually by VITAS and Vietnam Economy Times. The selection criteria depend on business efficiency, technology investment, social responsibility and sustainable development plan.
