Guangdong Textile machinery exports to ASEAN countries soars

Guangdong textile machinery export to ASEAN in 2005 for the first time exceeded US $10 million, reached $14.783 million, 3.1 times over the export value of that in 2002, with an average annual growth rate of 46% in three years.

From January to August 2007, Guangdong's textile machinery export to ASEAN reached $14.255 million, a rapid growth of 72% over the same period of previous year, close to last year's total export amount to ASEAN.

The demand from the brisk markets of Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia provides a good opportunity to Guangdong textile machinery.

With the continuing expansion of the ASEAN textile machinery market, particularly the demand for high technological and efficient textile machinery. ASEAN has become one of the world's most active regions for textile machinery.
