Edana returns to India to give its
world famous training courses for a second time
After a successful launch in 2006, Edana, in co-operation with BCH, will
organise its two highly-acclaimed nonwovens and absorbent hygiene products
training courses, for the second time in India in December 2007.
Taking place during the week of 1st December 2007 in New Delhi, these 2-day
training courses will provide a unique opportunity for India’s newcomers to the
industry, to quickly gain a complete understanding of the various technologies,
processes, raw materials and market aspects of nonwovens and absorbent hygiene
products.
Although designed primarily for marketing and technical/R&D executives from
producers, suppliers and converters, it is expected that, because of India’s
emerging nonwovens industry, the training courses will again attract, as was the
case for the first courses in India in 2006, the interest of potential investors
and business executives who are considering entering this exciting sector.
The continuously updated training courses, containing exclusive copyrighted
material and data, make extensive use of visuals and samples and each
participating delegates receives a comprehensive set of notes and certificate
once having completed the course. Innovations for the Indian version of the
course will include product development exercises.
Registration for the training courses (Nonwovens: 3rd-4th December and Absorbent
Hygiene Products: 5th-6th December), is on a “first come, first served basis”.
Each course will be limited to approximately 30 to 35 delegates, so early
registration is advised. Priority will be given to last year’s surplus
candidates.
The first edition of Edana’s training courses in India, which took place in
November 2006, was attended by a record number of participants (40 for the
nonwovens course and 30 for the absorbent hygiene products training course),
whose comments included, ‘Very comprehensive’, ‘Exhaustive’, ‘Informative and
useful’, ‘Excellent overall!!’, ‘The right mix of theoretical and practical
knowledge’.
