India ITME 2008
The
India International Textile Machinery Exhibitions Society
(India ITME Society) is organizing the 8th Global Textile
Machinery Exhibition at the Bangalore International Exhibition
Centre (BIEC) from 15th to 22nd November 2008. The India ITME
Society has been holding since 1980 international textile
machinery exhibitions every 4 years. The exhibition to be held
in 2008 is 8th in the series. The Bangalore International
Exhibition Centre is a state-of-the-art complex with the
latest facilities for the exhibitors and the business
visitors. It encompasses 3 big air cooled halls with separate
conference rooms and convention centre together with food
courts, protocol lounges, office space, parking and other
infrastructure. The primary objective of the world textile
machinery exhibition is to promote technology developments and
improvements in textile production. It is anticipated that
higher technology will promote speed, efficiency, productivity
and cost reduction in the conversion from fibre to clothing
and made-ups.
India ITME’ 2008 is planned on a much bigger scale in 3
Halls with a total area of about 40000 sq. mtrs. The
Exhibition will attract the major textile engineering units of
the world and will be a show case of the latest products and
technology. The Exposition will provide the makers of textile
machinery and components with a golden opportunity to interact
with the textile and clothing producers from all parts of the
globe.
The India ITME 2004 held in Mumbai had attracted 748
exhibitors including 313 from foreign countries. The business
visitors were about 120,000. INDIA ITME 2008 is expected to be
more comprehensive and attractive.
