Tomsic presents high quality laboratory equipment at IGATEX Pakistan 2018

TOMSIC will show its Evenness Tester “EASY”, Strength tester “TensoTester3” and “CountAnalyser”, the simplest quality control machines for yarns in the market.

The high-quality TOMSIC laboratory equipment, 100% made in Italy, are created with the latest generation technology. They are equipped with the operator-friendly software. All operating parameters are set in only one window. In the same window also the measuring units can be selected before running the test. The graphical and numerical results, perfectly aligned to WORLD STANDARDS, are displayed in one window for direct test comparison…therefore, the operator’s job is maker quicker and simpler.

The flexible software is installed on a normal PC with Windows 10 platform, allows automatic update of the latest features directly from the head Tomsic service station, COST-FREE. This advantage guarantees that the customer’s equipment is always fully updated with the most cutting-edge technology.

“EASY” and “TensoTester3” data retrieval is based on the Open SQL Server database. This database using the SQL principle enables all data to be exported easily to other programs/databases. All parameters are with OPEN access which permits FREE LAN connection. The reports can be globally read ON-LINE and in REAL TIME.

Since ITMA 2015, the TOMSIC Evenness Tester and Strength tester have upgraded with the LINK JOB TECHNOLOGY. This technology offers the possibility to link the Evenness tester and Strength tester with Tomsic Count Analyser to collect directly the data of the REAL COUNT and obtain in this way the real test results. It is very useful, errors avoid system and time-saving technology!

Features

EASY – Evenness Tester

The TOMSIC Evenness Tester is a PC based off-line laboratory equipment used to test and analyse the quality of sliver, roving and yarn.

It is equipped with a capacitive sensor to measure the mass irregularity and an optical sensor (Optional) for measuring the hairiness value of yarn. An optional automatic arrangement (AUTOCHANGER) is provided to feed the yarn for measurement automatically.

The measuring standard range is from approx… 1 tex to 12 ktex (with ECS-EXT sensor up to 30 ktex).

“EASY” is developed on the MODULAR principle. Each slot is independent and easily extractable by the customer himself and with an auto test of each module. The capacitor sensor is developed with the patented self- calibrating function too. In practice, a lower service cost is guaranteed and thus a Tomsic technician on site is not required.

TENSOTESTER3 – Automatic Strength Tester

The TOMSIC Strength tester TensoTester3 is a PC based off-line laboratory equipment operating on the principle of constant rate of elongation. Mainly utilized for yarn testing, with the replacement of some parts fits even sliver, fabric and test on hanks.

The standard configuration has only one bobbin tested per cycle.

The automatic bobbin change, up to 24 positions, is an optional that can be included at any time on the standard machine configuration. With this solution, the TensoTester3 offers the possibility to test different counts in automatic cycle.

Measuring accuracy is guaranteed on very fine count in range of +/- 1 cN/tex or 1%.

The Tomsic Strength Tester can be equipped with different loads cells: 3, 6, 10, 20, 50, 100 kg. The cell interchange is simply and quickly and does not require special knowledge.

TensoTester3 complies with the ISO 2062, ASTM D76 and D2256 standards.
