Benninger - Competence in textile
machinery
The Swiss company Benninger produces
machinery and plants which meet the highest standards for
weaving preparation and textile finishing. The range of
Benninger products is rounded off with tire cord systems and the
Benninger drive and control units. The name Benninger stands for
controlled and consistent quality, process reliability and
cost-effectiveness. At Benninger, great emphasis is also placed
on the environmental impact of the company's products, which is
why all machines and plants are subject to continuous
improvement programmes.
Benninger will show the following machines
at ITMA Asia & CITME 2008 in Shanghai at hall E5, stand B09.
The new VERSOMAT sectional warping
machine
A new machine concept takes sectional
warping of sample warps and short warps into a new dimension.
With the specially designed robot, hitherto
unheard of production speeds are now possible. This allows
sectional warping of sections down to a minimum of 4 mm,
enabling cost-effective warp production with a significantly
reduced number of bobbins in the creel. Thanks to the optimized
use of yarn and new partial creel operation, it has been
possible to reduce loading and idle times compared to
conventional sectional warping machines.
Potential applications for the VERSOMAT
system range from finest silk or cotton yarn to coarsest woolen
yarn.

The ergonomics of a VERSOMAT sectional
warping plant are perfect for quick and easy operation. Together
with the process control, this forms the basis for
cost-effective production of sample warps and short warps of
outstanding quality.
Küsters DyePad from Benninger
Following the acquisition of Küsters
Textile GmbH in Zittau/Switzerland, Benninger is now in a
position to offer the Küsters DyePad. Flexibility of the dyer is
maximized with the new S-roller technology. The rubber coating
of the S-roller has been further improved. The new fabric
guidance and the Benninger drive system guarantee stretch-free
fabric transport for all fabric qualities, in particular also
for the rapidly expanding open width knitwear market.
Another advantage of the Küsters DyePad is
its high availability, which is backed up by our Benninger
Service.

As well as the machinery and plants,
Benninger can also offer process engineering competence to
match. For the company's customers, this means that they can use
the comprehensive expertise and support of Benninger consultants
for their own, individual needs. This allows them to not only
meet the increasing demands placed on textile products, but also
allows them to set new trends.
Benninger AG is an international
corporation which has developed from its foundation in 1859 to
become a global leader in the manufacturing of textile
machinery, evolving over the years into the role of an integral
process partner for the textile industry.
In December 2007, Benninger acquired the
company Küsters Textile GmbH (Zittau/Germany) together with the
company's subsidiaries in China. With 750 highly qualified
employees world-wide, Benninger currently achieves a turnover of
around CHF 270 million.
