Textechno Herbert Stein GmbH
TEXTECHNO Herbert Stein GmbH & Co. KG,
the experts for quality control systems for fibres and yarns,
will present the following instruments of their scope of
supply at Hall W4, Booth D 09:
STATIMAT MEL
STATIMAT MEL is an
established model of TEXTECHNO’s scope of automatic tensile and
linear density testers. Offering a high resolution load cell
this instrument is TEXTECHNO’s response to the increasing
importance of elastomeric yarns, which – according to
international standards – are to be tested with a pretension of
0.01 cN/tex. Due to its unique resolution, the STATIMAT MEL is
capable of testing both bare Elastan (Spandex) as well as
elastic combination yarns with this extremely low pretension
leading to correct elongation values.
DYNAFIL ME
A complete set-up for automatic filament
testing is based on the universal filament tester DYNAFIL
ME. This instrument has proved its excellent suitability
for numerous applications like draw force testing of POY, crimp
testing of DTY and BCF, shrinkage testing of all kinds of yarns
including monofilaments and ATY. The capabilities of this
exciting instrument in testing BCF and DTY have been reported in
recent publications.
For an even more comprehensive application
DYNAFIL ME is completed by the automatic linear density tester
COMCOUNT with sample preparation for spin finish analysis, a
capacitive evenness tester COVAFIL, an optical entanglement test
system including the display of yarn profiles as well as devices
for the measurement of friction and broken filaments.
FAVIMAT-AIROBOT2
The FAVIMAT-AIROBOT2 tensile,
linear density and crimp tester for single fibre presents a new
and even higher degree of automation than the well-established
model FAVIMAT-ROBOT. The AIROBOT2 system consists of a
tensionless storage for up to 500 fibres together with a fully
automatic transfer clamp, which feeds the fibres to the FAVIMAT
testing instrument. A new automated sample preparation unit can
further reduce the loading time to values as low as 4 sec. per
fibre leading to a reduction of labour costs and an outstanding
return on investment.
