Stork® Prints Group presents
ecoLEX 683x
Stork produced its first flat-screen textile printing machine
over half a century ago, in 1953. Ten years later, the
revolutionary rotary screen printing concept was an immediate
success, and is now used for most of the world's textile
printing. Subsequent generations of machines have been
developed the latest of which is the Pegasus range - to expand
possibilities and improve performance. Systems for drying,
fixing and coating have also been introduced. Stork Prints is
the leading supplier of printing consumable concepts for the
textile and graphic markets as well as two dimensional, high
accuracy, metal precision products. The group achieved a
turnover of € 188 million in 2006 out of the total Stork
turnover of just over two billion. Stork will be present at
Hall A2, Booth C 01.
Product highlights
The ecoLEX683x integrates the advantages of
the optical exposure of a screen with those of the digital laser
technology. The screen made by mult-ibeam ecoLEX is coated with
a photo-sensitive lacquer. Stork's ecoLEX 683x carries out the
exposure by hardening the lacquer covering the non-image areas
of the lacquer by laser, while the screen revolves at fast
speed.
Laser Exposer for superior quality
The laser exposure integrates the
advantages of the optical exposure of a screen with those of the
digital laser technology. The screen made by mult-ibeam ecoLEX
is coated with a photo-sensitive lacquer. Stork's ecoLEX 683X
carries out the exposure by hardening the lacquer covering the
non-image areas of the lacquer by laser, while the screen
revolves at fast speed.
Thanks to a very focused and steady
UV-laser system the image is created by direct exposure in a
single step with great accuracy.
As a result of a low connecting load, no
water cooling is necessary. With the mult-ibeam LEX the laser
exposure is in all aspects a superior technology.

Easy to use
The software of the mult-ibeam ecoLEX is
completely user friendly. It works with Windows® based
multitasking software and is characterized by a clear menu
representation. The language can be selected. The inserted "job
manager" controls the correct input of the data. Applied
“production processes” for different used mesh types gives best
and reproducible quality. The status of the laser exposing
process is also indicated on the monitor.
Integrated raster list
The software includes a tested raster list
for an on the fly raster. With the help of a menu a raster can
be selected which corresponds to the screen.
