SSM Group demonstrates the spirit

The spirit of excellence: Everything SSM does is underpinned

ITMA ASIA, SSM will continue its tradition to show
breakthrough technology and attractive solutions in the
segments of Air Texturing, Dye Package preparation / Rewinding
and Final Make-up for Sewing threads. With 3 new machines and
a total of 6 machines, SSM has carefully selected a range of
exhibits, which expands its worldwide reputation for machines
that add true value in yarn winding and processing. SSM /
HACOBA is located in Hall W2, Booth D01.

SSM and HACOBA are introducing the second
generation of the well establish “Thread King” sewing thread
finish winder with the TK 2/20 “Thread King 2”.
The newly developed “Thread King 2” series
is the next generation of HACOBA high-performance sewing thread
finish winders. The new modular machine concept allows us to
offer this machine as a semi-automatic winder or with a new
high-performing Auto-doffer. The TK2/20 is available as Cone as
well as King-spool winder.
This machine combines the highest
performance of the well known THREAD KING series with the
functionality and operation comfort of modern control concepts
and state-of-the-art drive technology.
With absolutely new product features, like
the new slit-drum with “quick-lock” and electronically
controlled tuck-in device, the winder focuses on the market
requirement to increas e
the overall efficiency for minimum winding costs to be realised.
SSM introduces the TW2-T DIGICONE®
preciflex™ air texturing machine for the fine yarn
segments with the new fancyflex2™ for slub yarns.
The TW2-T is a manual-doffing air texturing
machine with friction driven take-up concept. The TW2-T, with
single drive technology, is designed for the processing of fine
to medium continuous synthetic feeder yarns up to 1100dtex
(final) single, parallel or core/effect yarns for woven or
knitted textile product. The proven godet heating system ensures
final yarn count regularity and thus excellent dye uniformities.
The yarn path concept is based on long term experience within
SSM and is designed for the finer textile yarn applications. The
TW2-T can be delivered with an elastane feeding device and the
slub-device fancyflex™ for effect yarns.
COMPONENTS & NEW TECHNOLOGIES:
fancyflex2™
Further development of the Original and
well known fancyflex™ device is the new generation of slub-device,
fancyflex2™. This new slub-device forms smaller slubs (30 –
60mm) at higher speeds higher speeds with a 100% volume increase
in the effect yarns.
SSM introduces the new DP5-W DIGICONE®
fastflex™, the new line of superior precision winders.
DP5-W DIGICONE® fastflex™
SSM - the inventor of the electronic yarn
traverse system - is proud to present its new DP5-W winding
machine.
The DP5-W is a superior precision winder with optional doffer
for the production of dye packages, for the preparation of
packages for weaving, warp knitting and circular knitting; as
well as for the rewinding operation with or without thread
treatment. Maximum mechanical winding speed tops 2500m/min. The
DP5-W integrates SSM’s established high-speed electronic winding
unit fastflex™ and online tension control device digitens™ along
with SSM’s uniquely energy saving back pressure system. The
result is tailor-made cross-wound packages that provide
unparalleled dyeing and unwinding performance and fulfil highest
requirements in all down-stream processes.
All process parameters can be easily stored
and retrieved in the new, unique user-friendly machine terminal,
and, therefore, guarantee perfect reproducibility. This is an
important differentiation from the results obtained by
conventional systems. Due to the machine’s ergonomic design, the
possibilities for innovative automation solutions, and its
overall lower power consumption relative to conventional
systems, the costs of winding can be massively reduced.
