Oerlikon Neumag Airlaid Technology for Polymer Group Inc.

Oerlikon Neumag has installed an M&J Airlaid web forming system for Polymer Group, Inc. and helped enable the successful start up of the line.

The Airlaid system provided by Oerlikon Neumag compliments PGI’s proprietary Spinlace™ production technology and includes a complete Airlaid system with web forming, auxiliary equipment for raw material preparation, complete process air handling equipment, and a complimentary process control system. The web forming system was part of a project to retrofit and expand an existing nonwoven production line at a PGI’s facility in Benson, North Carolina, USA.
