Forbo Group has acquired 5.01% of Rieter’s registered shares  

Forbo Holding AG, Lindenstrasse 8, 6341 Baar, has informed Rieter Holding Ltd., Winterthur, on May 7th 2008, that it currently holds directly and indirectly through its subsidiary Forbo International SA, Lindenstrasse 8, 6341 Baar, 223,000 registered shares in Rieter Holding Ltd.

This is equivalent to 5,01% of the total voting rights. According to the notification by Forbo Group the limit of 5% of the voting rights was exceeded on May 6th, 2008.

The Board of Rieter Holding AG has been informed that Forbo Group acquired these shares with a long term perspective. Rieter welcomes the shareholdings of this industrial investor.
