Aik Embroidery was the first company in Pakistan that has invested in the world largest multi-head embroidery machine and this could be a unique breakthrough in terms of productivity for Pakistan’s embroidery sector. Today most of the production sites are typically using 20-head machines with a much wider and, therefore, less productive head-spacing. Or they use shuttle-embroidery machines with only one colour. Not only that the ZSK machine has the vast number of 56 heads, an enormous embroidery field and six colours. Its head-spacing of 24/4 or 48/4 is almost taylor-made for the typical Pakistani production. Moreover, the ZSK ZBFA machines operate with true Automatic Head-Selection for extraordinary designs and can be upgraded with different devices like sequin, boring and cord/loop.

ZSK ZBFA 5606 is now the world’s biggest multihead embroidery machine. Thanks to its 56 embroidery heads, productivity is increased by 25 percent compared to their previous top model.

The shuttle machines only use every second or third stitch or even fewer embroidering areas for multi-color embroidery – i.e. only a minor part of the capital invested in them. In case of the ZSK yardage embroidery machine six or nine colors are available depending on the head spacing without deactivating embroidery heads. The direct comparison shows further factors contributing to the efficiency: ZSK machines are extremely solid and built to run 24/7 for years with extremely high embroidery speed of up to 1000 rpm and the considerably shorter set-up times when changing the sample or order.

Unlike other multi-head embroidery machines ZSK can easily handle Shuttle embroidery yarn, which has a much higher shine, higher coverage and comes at lower costs.

Any head at any time can be selected without manually switching heads on and off being supported by the ZSK digitizing software, data code and machines. Thanks to the so-called “automatic head selection” and the extended pantograph movement, an embroidery head can also embroider the neighboring embroidery field.

Typical fields of application include,saris, dupatas, table cloth and bed linen such as plaids and bedspreads and drape panels.The head selection function can not only be used for designing purposes but it can also reduce the capital expenditure:

A sequin device is installed only on every second head. By means of the head selection, these sequin devices are activated and can embroider also in the neighboring repeat. The so called “pull-through” technology allows the production of yardage goods by pulling through the embroidered fabric over the entire length of the border frame.
