New Luescher International Sales Director for indirect channels

Franz Repp was appointed as International Sales Director Indirect Channels at Luescher AG, Switzerland effective from January 2008. In his new position he is responsible for the distribution of the Luescher platesetters with graphic arts distributors on a worldwide level.

Franz Repp joined Luescher in 2005 as a sales manager CTP for Germany and the Benelux countries, after holding similar positions for several years at Kodak Polychrome Graphics, ECRM and Tetenal. In his co-operation with his distributors and the approximately 250 Luescher CTP users in Germany and Benelux he was very successful and sold about 30 XPose! UV platesetters for conventional UV offset plates. Among his customers many well reputed and leading offset printers in Germany can be mentioned like GGP Media (Bertelsmann) in Pössneck, Niedermayr in Regensburg, Fink in Ostfildern, Roto-Offset Bagel in Unterkaka and Westend in Essen.
