The President Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ijaz Abbassi has stressed the European Union to ease the policy for issuance of business visa besides removing the duties on Pakistani textile products.

He said that tariff and non-tariff barrier were imposed to restrict the access of the goods in the EU market, adding that penetration of Pakistani products was becoming difficult because some other countries were allowed tariff concessions, which promoted their access in the EU market.

The consultant of Europe Union, Dr. Bent Norby Bonde and Munir Ahmed said that Europe Union considers Pakistan as one of largest trading partners and wants to enhance trade relations with it. Europe Union wants to improve the business activities in Pakistan and ICCI can play a pivotal role for the betterment in this regard.
