The second generation of Compact Spinning Systems, RoCoS (Rotorcraft Compact Spinning), attains the significant yarn quality improvements introduced by the first generation of compacting systems, while performing considerably more economically and consistently than the conventional pneumatic compacting systems.

The recent ITMA in Munich Rotorcraft introduced the new additions to its RoCoS line of compacting systems: CORE RoCoS for core spun yarns and TWIN RoCoS for siro spun yarns.

The CORE RoCoS ensures that the core-filament is guided perfectly in the compacting slot, which guarantees that the filament stays in the centre of the staple fibres. As with all our innovations, these additions result from listening closely to the needs of our customers, who have been demanding RoCoS solutions for spinning these speciality yarns.

Rotorcraft Drafting Components

The position of the front top roller is adjustable. Therefore, it is possible to optimize the offset of this roller corresponding to draft, setting and fibre length. The pressure is transmitted to the top rollers directly by the unique Rotorcraft weighting elements. Absolutely no internal friction can occur. The pressure between top and bottom rollers remains constant, improving fibre control.

All top rollers are loaded by individual weighting elements without losing the advantage of central loading and unloading by air pressure. The pressure between top and bottom rollers remains constant, irrespective of any change in the setting of the top rollers, improving fibre control.
