Stefan Kroß will be the new Head of Oerlikon Barmag and Georg Stausberg will be CTO of Oerlikon Textile.

With effect from 1 April 2008, Stefan Kross (Stefan Kroß) will take over the position as Head of Oerlikon Barmag in Remscheid, a company of the business segment Oerlikon Textile. The 52 year old graduate engineer in mechanical engineering has already more than 15 years of experience in machine engineering in different leading positions and business units in the business segment. His last position was CTO (Chief Technology Officer) of Oerlikon Textile GmbH & Co. KG in Mönchengladbach.

In his new position, he will replace Martin Stillger who joint the former Barmag AG in 1991 and who brought successfully forth the company for many years. Martin Stillger will voluntarily leave the company by end of April to face other challenges in another sector.

Also with effect from 1 April, Georg Stausberg will change from Oerlikon Barmag to Oerlikon Textile and will, as CTO, take over the new executive functions from Stefan Kroß. The 44 year old graduate engineer in mechanical engineering reflects upon a long-time and successful career at Oerlikon Barmag. His last position was Head of Customer Support.
