The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) will assist textile exporters to participate in the US ‘Material World’ trade show. An official announcement said the show to be held in Miami, Florida, on April 8, 2008 is the largest textile trade fair held in the United States. The TDAP is organizing the national pavilion in collaboration with commercial section of the Consulate General of Pakistan.

The Material World showcases textiles, fabrics, yarn, accessories, garments and home furnishings. It is known in the US as an alternative to Heimtextil and Texworld in Europe. The US is the largest market of textile products in the world and is the largest buyer of Pakistani textiles.
