Bonino carding machines

Bonino Carding Machines, founded in Biella (Italy), the world’s capital of wool, has been in operation in the textile machinery field since 1913, producing woollen, semi-worsted and non-woven carding machines. This modern and dynamic firm can boast almost 90 years experience in the production of textile machinery for fibre preparation, recycling of wastes and offers all types of carding solutions. The design and manufacture of waste recycling plants (rotary cutters and rag tearing machines), blending plants (bale openers, openers and blending bins), nonwoven lines for virgin or regenerated fibres, installations for woollen yarns and production lines for open end spinning are manufactured at the factory, which also produces all components parts. Bonino is represented in Pakistan by Associated Textile Consultants (ATC) and can approached at Textile Asia at Booth E-184 in Hall 5.

Today BONINO offers its customers all around the world complete lines from fibre preparation to cards. These lines are expressly designed to process virgin and regenerated fibres, both natural and man-made, suitable either for spinning or for nonwovens, including some special products such as surgical cotton and de-haired cashmere.

All the machines are designed and expressly tailored to meet the customer’s needs with regards to raw materials in process and final product destinations.

The machines are totally manufactured inside our own production department using the most updated technologies; however the initial step for customer involves consultation and planning with Bonino experts.

In fact the bases for the new-concept products are placed in the research and development department, in the technical centre and in the family textile workshop.

Bonino production portfolio

Turbo Card

Bonino turbo card offers an alternative to traditional carding machines for some processes, while in others it can work alongside them to enhance performance.

This card has proved itself to be extremely flexible in terms of both output products and input raw materials.

Applied in the sanitary product sector, cotton wool for spunlace and supports for coagulates, Bonino turbo card can process synthetic and artificial fibres as well as cotton.

Used for apparel and upholstery products, filters, needled covers, carpets, wall coverings, felt and product for the automotive industry, it can process all types of fibre including any kind of natural/synthetic fibre waste.

Nonwoven Card

A machine suitable to process all kinds of fibres, having many different configurations  available to adapt to all different Customer’s needs.

The benefit with regenerated fibres is immediate: the carding process is carried out in a small sized machine whereas, in the past machines with huge diameters were required. Moreover the wide carding surface available can be optimized during the processing of virgin fibres.

The carding action on the fibre can be gauged correctly, producing a softer effect: the plates drive the fibres without damaging them and the result is very high quality of the delivered web.

Hydra - for health sector

Hydra is a new high-production carding machine for medical items made up of bleached cotton and viscose; it is suitable to process very short fibres and reach heavy output loads and high speeds. This card is successfully applied in all the sectors requiring the use of a cotton card and it is also suitable for all the raw materials which require good opening.

Hydra is used to manufacture spunlaced products, absorbent cotton (zigzag, pre-cut, rolls and so on) and cotton pads for personal hygiene.

It is used with machines to produce sliver for cotton swabs and cotton balls, the airlay installations for heavier webs and the lines for ribbon for hygienic tampons, supplementing the range of machines used in the health sector.

According to ATC, the agent of Bonino in Pakistan, “Fibre preparatory machines, cotton cards, nonwoven cards and air lay cards are only some of the machines, produced by Bonino Carding Machines. Due to its long experience in textile machinery manufacturing and in textile processes the company is today able to supply tailored solutions to all those markets and customers looking to produce special products or processing critical fibres.”

The company has developed a cotton card specially designed for regenerated fibre and starting from the experience made with this machine applied to spinning process, it is now in position to supply complete lines processing bleached cotton or extremely short cotton for sanitary and hygienic purposes. The link between the experience matured with cotton wastes and nonwoven products, whose machines are part of the product range, has given the possibility of developing special solutions in this field and others.
