Alfred Watzl retires on 31 December 2007

Alfred Watzl during his nearly four decades with Fleissner exerted a decisive influence on the development of nonwovens installations. Under his responsibility as a sales and marketing expert, a variety of equipment including "Fleissner AquaJet", components for airlaid web lines or heavy-duty production lines for man-made fibers were developed, built and sold worldwide.

He contributed to the continuous improvement of equipment in constant response to the market. His commitment combined with numerous inventions and developments has made Fleissner a leading supplier in many fields of the textile machinery and equipment market.

Rüdiger Weinhardt has taken over responsibility for all marketing and sales activities as Director of Sales on 1st January 2008.
