Italy interested in importing towels from Pakistan

Italy has expressed interest in importing bigger quantities of towels and allied products from Pakistan, said Italian Trade Commissioner Dr Marco Pintus, who visited the office of Towel Manufacturers' Association of Pakistan (TMA).

TMA Chairman Muzzammil Husain gave an overview of the towel industry in Pakistan to the visitors. A separate delegation, comprising Giovanni Siano, representative of Giontex s.a.s. Naples, Italy, and Ahmed Khan of Euro Biancheria, Italy, also visited TMA Head Office and met towel manufacturers and exporters of towels. Both delegations assured the TMA members that a group of bigger towel importers from Italy would be visiting Pakistan shortly to place orders for towels and allied made-ups.
