Intertextile Beijing Apparel Fabrics - China International Trade Fair for Apparel Fabrics & Accessories

Intertextile Beijing Apparel Fabrics will move to a larger and more convenient location in 2008. The show, running 27 - 29 March 2008, will be held at the China International Exhibition Centre in Beijing, a larger venue to accommodate the expanding show. And to make better use of its new home, the show will be nearly 21% larger in 2008, with 47,000 sqm of exhibition space.

Intertextile Beijing is one of the leading textile apparel trade events for northern China. In 2007, the show attracted nearly 22,000 trade buyers - 24% more than the year prior - including 13% from outside Mainland China. Visitors came from 77 countries and regions, with the largest groups from the European Union and East Asia. More than half of all visitors are garment manufacturers.

The show features a complete range of apparel fabrics, fibres and yarns, accessories, textile-related technology, design and styling agencies and fashion and textile trade publications. In 2008, Intertextile Beijing will dedicate one of the show halls to accessories, lace and embroidery suppliers. The show also presents informative industry-related seminars and the Interstoff Asia Directions Trend Forum and Fabrics China Trend Forum, highlighting the forecasted styles, colours and fabrics from around the world and across China. The show will also have several country and region pavilions, to help visitors more easily navigate the thousands of suppliers expected.

Intertextile Beijing is an ideal opportunity for international textile suppliers to tap into China's apparel industry. While apparel exports from China continue to create a strong need for textiles, China's domestic market is also heating up demand. Chinese consumers have proven to be a major consumer of apparel products and that in turn has fuelled demand for imported textiles - helping to make Intertextile Beijing a leading destination for sourcing fabrics. The exhibitors from Pakistan include the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan, Anam Weaving (Pvt) Ltd., Dolphin Textile Mill (Pvt) Ltd., Gulistan Textile Mills Ltd. Pak Kuwait Textile Ltd and Sapphire Textile Mills Ltd. The show runs concurrent to Yarn Expo Spring 2008, a sourcing event in Beijing for apparel textile fibres and yarns, which will be held at the China World Trade Centre and connected by free shuttle bus.
